On June 1st 1960, New Zealand had its first television broadcast, and in 1973, colour television was introduced. Now, the TV is an integral part of many of our lives - whether that's as a source of news, entertainment, or simply as a way of feeling connected to the wider world.

These television trays are evidence of Crown Lynn's engagement with the socio-cultural changes occuring around them, and their ability to create products which served an ever-changing society.
