Visit

Kia Ora, welcome to Te Toi Uku, Crown Lynn and Clayworks Museum.

Te Toi Uku is located in New Lynn, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. We are the big red building next door to the beautiful Gardner and Parker Brothers downdraft kiln, built in 1926.

We are open Wednesday to Friday 10-4pm, and Saturday 10-3pm.

Entry into the Museum is free, however donations are always welcome via both cash and EFTPOS.

On-street parking is often available just outside the Museum, and the Museum can be accessed via both steps and a ramp. If you require special assistance during your visit, please let us know in advance - we are happy to help.

If you are planning on taking public transportation, we are a five-minute walk from the New Lynn Train Station.

Visiting with a group? Tours are available on request and are $8 per person. Enjoy an hour-long tour of the Museum, covering Crown Lynn, West Auckland clay history, and the Gardner and Parker Brothers kiln. The maximum group size is 25 people. If you would like to bring a larger group, please let us know and we can arrange additional tour guides to accommodate two groups simultaneously.

If you would like to book a tour, please call us on 09 827 7349.
