About this objectBarrow to carry green (unfired) bricks from the mould to the drying floor and then to the hack. Single-wheeled balanced barrow of timber construction with 3-leaf springs to axle amidships. Designed to carry green bricks in a single layer to minimise damage. Structure comprising timber rails each side with timber thwarts & adjacent tie-bolts at legs and at each end of fore-&-aft leaf springs, timber legs braced by diagonal steel-rod braces, deck beams of varying thickness – thinnest aft -- over each thwart. Deck of fore-&-aft planks.
