About this objectSalad plate which has been hand painted with dark blue in the centre and gold yellow around the wide rim. The rim is decorated with two "Z" brush stokes and two sets of triangle motifs in black. There is a ring of black around the outside and inside rim. Around the rim is written in black permanent marker " Not enough [,] diamonds & orange & black [,] not strong".This is a pattern called "Metro" that has featured on tableware with the Faberware (NZ) backstamp.
