About this objectBackstamp for hand labelling of ceramic ware. Turned wooden handle with a flat circular pad at one end. A round rough cut piece of foam is glued to this pad, and glued to this is a thin rubber stamp. The relief moulded text on the stamp reads "THE CLIFTON WOOD SELECTION, NEW ZEALAND, MAYFIELD, GENUINE IRONSTONE, D837" and appears in reverse.
