This dark brown hot water bottle was made by AMBRICO (Amalgamated Brick and Pipe Company) sometime between 1942 and 1948. When in use, this hot water bottle would’ve had a stopper - held in place by ridges around the bottle's mouth. 

It is an interesting example of the company’s early attempts at producing domestic ware.
