Echo Pattern

Echo is a very popular Crown Lynn design. Designed by Mark Cleverly, Echo was first released in 1969. It was part of an attempt to appeal to a younger market, and is reminiscent of the ‘Flower Power’ movement of the early 1970s.

To produce this design, the black floral pattern was printed onto a white body with the Murray Curex machine. It was then sprayed with a semi-opaque ochre colour, allowing the black pattern to shine through.
