Electric Jugs
Between 1944 and 1949, Ambrico was producing porcelain electric jugs in a variety of shapes and colours.
Many of these jugs were sold through the Farmers Trading Company, and made their way to homes throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Before long, these ceramic jugs were replaced by new enamelled metal jugs – however, some electric jugs were produced again in the 1960s by the Titian factory. The original Ambrico jugs are commonly stamped with an Ambrico imprint on the base, but others simply have the jugs' electrical specifications.
