The gold-handled ‘Loving Cup’, was made in June of 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The ‘Loving Cup’ was designed by Crown Lynn’s designers David Jenkin and Peter Cooke, hand-thrown by Ernie Shufflebotham, and decorated by Doris Bird.
